SYDNEY BRASSSydney Brass is a band of musicians who specialise in brass music and wedding fanfares. We are able to provide “traditional” music for formal occasions as well festive music at celebrations and festivals.

Sydney Brass can provide music for any Wedding, Festival or Celebration. Our qualified musicians can perform as a large or small group; or as accompaniments in larger musical performances.
Sydney Brass was for formed in late 1958 by Cliff Goodchild (former Principal Tuba of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra) with four of his colleagues from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
Since this time we have grown to include many fine musicians; including others from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and many graduates from Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music.
In the year 2008 we will be celebrating 50 years of brass music performance.

WEDDING FANFARES
Wedding Fanfares was formed in 1980 by Sydney based musician Paul Goodchild who joined the Sydney Symphony Orchestra nearly 30 years ago and is also Musical Director of Sydney Brass and has over 25 years experience in the wedding music business.

Wedding Fanfares offers a unique service in providing the perfect musical background to enhance that special occasion whether it be a traditional church wedding with a Grand Pipe Organ and trumpets, an intimate garden setting with a brass ensemble or string quartet or a park setting with a brass band. With his wealth of experience and colleagues in the professional music world, Paul is able to capture that perfect sound to make your wedding ceremony one to remember.
